Meet the Designer

I believe every space has the potential to be beautiful. The places where we live, work, rest, and gather have a profound impact on how we think, how we feel, and how we experience life.

God is the original Designer. He could have created a world that was flat, monochromatic, and one-dimensional. Instead, He surrounded us with depth and dimension, texture and pattern, light and movement, and an extraordinary array of colors—all created for our comfort, inspiration, and joy.

I believe our spaces should reflect that same intentionality.

Whether it is a 300-square-foot dorm room, a 3,000-square-foot home, or a 13,000-square-foot commercial building, every space should have a sense of purpose and destination. It should feel intentional. Elevated. Comfortable. And, whenever possible, a little luxurious.

I will probably never begin by asking, “What do you want your space to look like?” If you already know exactly what you want and simply need someone to execute it, you may need a skilled laborer—not necessarily a designer.

Who are you? How do you live? How will the space function? What are your emotional needs? What brings you comfort? What inspires you? And most importantly, how do you want to feel when you walk into the room?
